Our founder, Ollie Livingston serves in the United States Army as an audiologist.
1953 | Moving Forward
Ollie Livingston completes his military service, then moves to Lubbock, Texas and opens Livingston Hearing Aid Center.
1976 |The Start of a Team
Richard Davila joins Ollie Livingston and becomes a Certified Hearing Aid Audiologist.
1986 | A Change of Hands
Richard Davila purchases Livingston Hearing Aid Center from Ollie Livingston.
June 1990 | A TRAGEDY CHAnGES THE TRAJECTORY
June 8th, Richard Davila, 42, dies of a sudden heart attack. Practice continues serving West Texas under the supervision of Richard Davila’s wife, Eloina.
July 1990 | ENTER RICHARD DAVILA, II
Richard Davila, II, 17 joins the Livingston team.
1993 | GOING BEYOND
Richard Davila, II travels to 12 counties surrounding Lubbock to bring hearing healthcare into drugstores, senior citizen centers and patient homes.
2001 | EXPANSION
Livingston expands into the state of New Mexico.
2010 | THE FIRST 25
Livingston continues opening new practices, including its 25th location.
2012 | INTO THE METROPLEX
First practices open in DFW Metroplex: Denton, Gainesville, and McKinney, Texas.
2013 | COMING TO COLORADO
Livingston expands into the state of Colorado. First Colorado office opens in Durango.
2014 | 50 LOCATIONS
Livingston continues opening new practices in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, including its 50th location.
2018 | ARRIVING IN ARIZONA
Livingston begins opening new practices in Arizona. First Arizona office opens in Chandler.
2019 | 90 LOCATIONS
Livingston opens its 90th location.
