- Dr. Richard Navarro has served the hard-of-hearing community of all ages for over 50 years as a former professor of audiology and practicing audiologist. In addition to his audiology skills, he has invented a number of commonly used devices and procedures in audiology, has authored over 150 publications/presentations and the book “Resurrection of the Blue Planet”. He is an international speaker in both audiology and renewable energy. He holds 5 patents with two patents pending. He has been hearing impaired since childhood and wears binaural hearing aids. He served on the Wisconsin Governors’ Committee on Deafness and The Special Legislative Committee on the Criminal Justice System and the Developmentally Disabled. He was named a Waldo-Sangren Scholar at Western Michigan University and a Distinguished Alumnae in 2020. He has two children and two grandchildren.

Melanie at Livingston Hearing Aid Center in Georgetown is just awesome. Anytime my mother has an issue, whether it’s cleaning, repai, or replacing lost hearing aids, Melanie and her team work with us for the best possible outcome. My mother has tried many hearing aids and doctors and this is the first where my mother trusts her. Five plus stars.
