Many people with hearing loss are much more likely to wear a hearing aid if it is very discreetly positioned or even invisible to others. The latter is the case with invisible-in-the-canal (IIC) hearing aids. Although similar in some ways to the completely-in-the-canal hearing aid, the IIC sits deeper in the ear canal with a comfortable, customized fit. At Livingston Hearing Aid Center, we offer an array of hearing aid devices, including the invisible-in-the-canal hearing aid.
This style of hearing aid provides a more natural hearing experience for the user through its deep placement in the ear canal and venting. This particular hearing aid may not work well for those with a narrow ear canal.
