- Cody grew up in Merkel, TX and now resides in Abilene, TX. He has two grown children. He is also raising his niece and two nephews that keep him busy supporting them in football, basketball, baseball, and FFA. Cody loves spending time with his family and his newest addition, his granddaughter, Paityn Rae. Cody enjoys hunting and fishing when he gets the chance. Cody plans to work until noon on the day of his funeral.
